Apostle Alakija speaks at the ‘Women in Leadership Africa’ webinar hosted by the Common Wealth Enterprise and Investment Council.
The webinar, organised in partnership with 100 Woman in Finance, the Woman of the Future Programme, the Government of Rwanda and The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, highlighted excellence in female leadership across Africa. The sessions focused on encouraging the next generation of female leaders, while discussing the challenges women entrepreneurs face today and how to support them.
Apostle Folorunso Alakija, Vice-chairman, Famfa Oil said: “Always be determined. Never allow people who say no to discourage you. I find that you can always turn a no into a yes – I learned that along the way on my climb up here.”
